I've read and tried many things...I have had the same problem. Some other things not mentioned: 1. Remove mirrors from the bedroom. They are too stimulating. 2. Go to bed the same time every night (that's a hard one!) 3. Try to resolve any issues that are on your mind that could be plaguing you. (That is difficult...I try to be philosophical and realize that I cannot do anything right now. That doesn't always work, though.) 4. Read something really boring. 5. Listen to soothing music. 6. Relaxation 'exercises'. I hear there are some good tapes or DVDs. I have one I was given to listen to before and after surgery, it put me right to sleep!

The treatment is sleep, your best medicine is sleep, and I was in the military... We all suffered from sleep deprevation and it caused us girls to stop mentruating and then I started to act like a dude and threw punches.

I think if you want to pull a 24 hour stint, your best bet is to invest in a foldable lounge chair and a comfortable blanket... Because, you may have a break to take a quick wink.... Which will help you pull it off.

First answerer is correct. You could try a lot of things that could work, but you'll go mad.

Also lack of sleep, especially when caused by stimulants regardless of their natural properties, has way too many dangers to yourself and anyone you'll be around.

Proper rest is one of the Pillars of Health. To ignore a pillar of health is to invite disease to infect your body. Would you want to do this?
