I'm deathly afraid of Ferris Wheels. I'm afraid they're gonna eat me in my sleep.

Not really.
Not keen on spiders but I wouldn't say that I was scared of them as such.
I think that some phobias can be connected to past life experiences.
Like the fear of water - drowing in past life
Snakes - maybe poisoned
Clowns - too many horror films.
Evidently the superstition about graveyards and holding your breath is to stop rogue spirits possessing you.
Why what are you scared of? You didn't say!

Many years ago i was informed by a psychologist who used the same pub that everyone has at least two phobias whether they admit them or not.
The most common are Death and/or the Unknown.
My two are Heights and Blindness.

I have a fear of pork scratchings. On my first date with my boyfriend he bought some and when i saw the packet i fainted. Sooooo embarrassing, im surprised he wanted to see me again. Lol. My fear is so intense that i cannot sit in the same room as them. I dont actually know what im scared of them though. I mean they cant hurt me or anything. Very strange.

I don't have any real phobias except for the usual ones that would just freak you out like being buried alive or being r*ped by a man etc... =D

Um... I don't like ants. See they aren't like any other bug, they come at you in gangs and they're just everywhere and you can't get away from them.
I used to be a bit funny about heights, but then I got a job that involved being up a ladder a lot (daft in theory!) and now I'm ok with it, I sing to myself whenever I'm feeling shaky up there.
Oh yeah, and peach skins... they make my tongue feel all swolen and I just... eugh, I got it now just thinking about them!

Centipedes & Robots. The noise robots make (air being pushed in and out) scares me sooooooooooo bad. I'm deathly afraid of them.
