I used to think life would be so much better if I were a Japanese. Or an American. Or a Canadian.
Right now the winter is coming and I'd like to be an African or a Jamaican. Brazil would be nice too.

to BlackTown... have a little more respect. any race of woman can grow up in a home like this and it usually makes them stronger and prouder. my cousins grew up in the opposite situation, only a father, and they are both very proud brilliant girls (thier mother died when they were little).

Not really the grass is always greener on the other side...
Look at dark skinned people all over the world who buy bleaching creams to be more light skinned.
Now look at pale people all over the world doling out cash for tanning booths and tan creams...
Don't worry, such insecurities are common among people...
just be who you are, be a good person, and people will love you for who you are.

no it wouldnt be. try thinking of all the good things being who you are now. im sure that there's plenty of good stuff in other races. dont be afraid of who you are. imbrace it!!! show no fear!
