I think generally iranians are nice people, respect them and their culture and you will be rewarded with the warmest Iranian hospitality possible.

Their government may hate America but normal Iranian folks do not share their government hatred.

There is nothing wrong with Iranian people. As with any group, some people are desirable, and some people aren't.

Unfortunately for you, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has not been portrayed to most of the western world as a benovolent man.

The western world does not trust the Iranian Government because he has claimed that the holocaust did not happen, and that Israel should be wiped off the map. It is difficult to side with someone who makes such unreasonable statements.

As for the Iranian people, I feel very bad for them. You deserve much more of a future than what your president is producing. Sanctions from the US and others are going to affect the citizens of Iran, like you, more than they will affect your leaders.

The Iranian Youth has been shown to be far more liberal than the Iranian Government. Iran has a great number of well informed Universities that have been promoting new and reformed ideas, that would greatly benefit Iran.

Iranian people are not killers or Terrorists, and most intelligent people understand that. Of course there are a few people in Iran who are killers and Terrorists. The same is true of every Western Country also.

The West wishes that Iran would stop the Uranium enrichment becuase they do not believe it exists for peaceful purposes. If Ahmadinejad had not said that Israel should "be wiped off the map" then maybe the situation would be different.

The Iranian people deserve Nuclear Power, but as long as Ahmadinejad is President, there is no guarantee that the Uranium will be used for peaceful purposes. That is too great a danger to risk.

I feel like the Iranian people are being hurt by their leader. Iranian people are no different than most of the people in the western world.

It is also difficult for people, Iranian and Western, to understand that the media and the press are manipulated by the governments.

We can only know what our leaders and our media tell us to know, so it makes understanding eachother difficult.

We don't think Iranians are bad or evil. We just want your leader to do what is best for you. It is in the interest of the Iranian people and the western world for the Enrichment to stop.

We, like you, just want to live in peace, without fear of nuclear war.

I have met, worked and hung out with many people from Iran (I'm American). Everyone I've met have been wonderful people - very kind and likeable. I know there are always exceptions, but this is my opinion of individuals from Iran. However, I don't think the government is so great, and neither do many Iranians. I think we should deal diplomatically with the government and pressure them to adhere to international nuclear standards. I'd hate to see evil and destruction hurt the nice people I know from Iran.

I don't think there is anything wrong with the Irainian people, I think the problem (or at least a large part of the problem) is Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. He makes incindiary statments, vowes to wipe Isreal of the map. Refuses to let UN inspectors check out Iranian nuclear facilities. Evidence is starting to come out that they are arming insurgents in Iraq and Afghanistan. Not very neighborly if you ask me.

I've known many Persians in my life. They were elegant, educated and worldly. Take a look at the streets of Iran. Yes, there is some of that Moslem repression of women going on, but a young woman is just as likely to walk around in freedom clothing.

If you hate and fear Iranians, you have been successfully duped by the Bush/Cheney propaganda machine.

I've worked with a lot of Iranian people and I thought they were just like most people: Good people who worked hard for a living and wanted to take care of their families and enjoy life.

I know hundreds of Iranians (persians) and they are wonderful, giving and kind people. They would give you their right arm if you needed it. Unfortunately the Iranian govt sets a horrible image for the people. President Ahmadenejad (sp?) did horrible things for Iran, thats why so many of their people fled Iran before the revolution.

People on this earth are all similar, the same. It is not the nationality that decides if one is a killer or terrorist. Look elsewhere to find the root cause of terrorism or killing.

THE IRANIAN GOVERNMENT IS WITHOUT A DOUBT TERRORIST.THEY ARE TRYING TO FORCE FEED THEIR IDEA OF ISLAM TO THE WORLD AND UNTIL SOMEONE STEPS ON THEM LIKE THE INSECTS THEY ARE THEY WILL CONTINUE. AS FOR THE IRANIAN PEOPLE THEY ARE AFRAID TO COMPLAIN BECAUSE IF THEY DO THEY WILL DISAPPEAR.

i think the people there are like people every where else in the world. they want food, warmth during the cold, cool during the heat, family and friends.

i don't hold a peoples government against them. Lord knows our American government isn't always perfect. But democrats and republicans alike, i give some of them credit for trying.
