The color for the DNC and the RNC have been around for a long time. But, it is fitting since the current Admin thinks the Constitution of the USA is just a GD piece of paper.

I've wondered that, too. Probably another instance of how the media uses propaganda to make the Democrats look good.
The commie liberal mainstream media tries to distance the American left from the rest of the leftists in the world that have proven themselves to be a curse on humanity.
One way to do that is by not equating the traditional color of communism with the Democrat party.
Imagine if red WAS used to designate the Democrat states, people would be more inclined to associate Democrats with communists. Which, they should, since they are both left wingers and support communists like Castro and Chavez.

Red has, unofficially been the color used to represent the Republican party for a very long time. In every election (at least in my lifetime) the media uses the color to denote states won by the Republican party on election night. The democratic party has, similarly been identified with the color blue. If you remember back to the elections in 1992 and 1996, Ross Perot (third party candidate) was associated with white in the media. It is simply another symbol, like the elephant and the donkey for political parties in America. There is nothing sinister behind it.
While you are correct that the color red has been associated with Communism, the U.S. has its own claim on the colors red white and blue.

Seriously... some should not be allowed to ask questions. So... by your uneducated logic.... why is there red in our flag? When you wear anything red are you a beacon of communism? A little education will go a long way from making you appear to be a fool.

Just a color. Could have been orange, green, or purple. Red was the color chosen.
