After being falsely blamed by somebody in the Laker's organization for Shaq being traded (Shaq confirmed this), lied to by Jerry Buss about making the Laker's an immediate contender when he resigned, and having Jerry Buss come out in Hawaii and say he'd consider offers after he and Kobe agreed to keep it behind closed doors, I think Kobe is getting a raw deal here and being made the scape goat for the Laker's poor leadership and management. I hope he gets out of their soon. I think everyone will see a different Kobe Bryant when he works with a team who wants to win as much as he does. If you don't believe Kobe about Jerry Buss ask Shaq. He'll tell you the same thing.

I'm a ride or die Lakers fan and while I, personally, would never boo Kobe while he is still wearing Lakers colors, I understand why they did. He's making it all about him and hurting the team he claims to love in the process. It can't be good for the other guys on the squad whose confidence level is already next to nill. And to the true fans his antics have been a slap in the face. The fans have held him down, spent their hard on money on tickets and gear, defended him, cheered for him and supported him so I think it was their right to say whatever they felt last night.

you know what i really think that Kobe should go somewhere else because a true die hard laker fan wouldn't boo the greatest player in the game regardless of the situation and i can just tell that he was very frustrated when he didn't get the calls that he wanted and the fans needs to understand that it's hard to please everybody and you do your best to do whatever it takes to help you team mates.
i am a die hard laker and kobe fan and i respect that amn 100% even though he may have had his ups and down for the past couple of years but i will always be a true fan of his.
and i don't blame him for wanting to be traded and i hope to god that happends ASAP because he deserves to be on a team with alot of talent around him.
so yo either love him or hate that's your opinions about him
and no matter what anybody says hi the best damn ball player since MJ left the game of Basketball hands down!

being a Laker fan, we all have a right to boo Kobe Bryant, and it has nothing to do with attitude... it is the fact that he is the only Laker to out right tell everyone he wants out. it would be different if he were offered more money somewhere else and the organization was not willing or able to match... or if he was traded by the organization without demanding it... Shaq, be it the fact that he was getting older, or his feud with Kobe, or Buss' financial reasoning for not willing to pay him what he was asking is also a different circumstance... Kobe is holding Laker fans hostage... he wants to be traded, but will not waive his no trade clause, so basically we are limited to where HE wants to go...
another thing, we as Laker fans have been constantly defending him regarding his abilities on the court, his determination, and even his character... we DEFENDED him when people were calling him selfish... we SUPPORTED him during his trial in Colorado... it's almost sad to say, but we came up with almost any and every excuse in the book to justify his greatness... and because he is having trouble with management, he's going to punish the FANS...
as for myself, I would have boo'd him too... and during a close game, I would have cheered when he scored, or when he brought the team back into the game... but don't mistake the fact that I am routing for MY TEAM to win... not Kobe... I cheer the TEAM to win, the TEAM I have followed and loved as a child... and for all those who say we are fair weather fans, or that we need to respect Kobe for what he has done... well, Kobe... RESPECT US for what he have had to endure as LAKER FANS with YOU on OUR TEAM....

He's the most talented player in the game, but not the best player.
He has never brought the best in his team mates the way Magic, Jordan and Olajiwan did. When LA won with him, it was because he had some of the most talented players on his team, almost like an All Star team.
Also, he's made it clear he wants to leave LA.
They have a right to be upset with him.

No. Kobe's attitude is the crappiest in basketball right now. I was a fan of his until shaq left. I'm still a lakers fan but I wish they would kick him to the curb.

fans can do what they want, since they paid hard earned money for their tickets. kobe does bring negative publicity to himself, so that's all on him. put that together with most nba fans being what-have-you-done-for-me-lately type of loyalty, and there you have it.
