I'm in a very similar situation... and I feel like it just gets worse... when I had the "dreams" I had no way to make them happen... now that I have the resources... I have no time....it's frustrating... but I'm considering that it's a scheduling issue... I think we have to schedule time... just like a job or a class... with a goal in mind... ie:.. Tuesday night is the night I'm going to paint... or write... or work on projects... Sunday is the day I'm going to do nothing... I'm thinking of getting that "tivo" for my cable so I can tape shows and watch when I want...without commercials... that way I can watch all my shows on one day instead of being chained to that box different nights of the week... also... you can maybe choose to "suffer" one night during the week...... ( like do a midnight grocery shop... or laundry or cleaning... ) to make it so you don't have to run around as much on your day off...anyway... that's what I'm thinking....

Make a list of all the things you "have" to do and "have" to have. Then start crossing things off. How much time each day do you spend watching tv? Is that on your list? How much time do you spend each day on the computer? Do you have to do that? You may find that as you get rid of things you do not need or things that you thought you "must" do, you are actually freer than ever before. A human being actually needs very little, but most are more than happy to ignore their families for the news or for iPods then are quick to complain that they have no time. Simplify your life. You are probably suffering from affluence more than anything else.

So start working on liking what you have to do.
Make tasks 'you Have to do' more interesting and you will see the difference.
1. You will be enjoying it which is so important,
2. And as a by-product you will take lesser time to complete it
3. And feel fresh for the next job at hand, which in turn will again go through the above 1, 2 and 3.
End result : You will find time and energy to do what you genuinely like.
Try it out, it will work !
Wishing you Goodluck.

First, you have as much time as anyone else on this earth. I believe it is about 365 days, 24 hours to a day, 60 minutes to an hour, and a second....you have same as me, her, them and those. Now all you need to do is simple....take back what is rightfully yours. If you like to read....take get up earlier or go to bed and take that half an hour and do nothing else but read. If its working out do so, if you want to play tennis or what TV take just an hour and do so. By understanding where your time has gone....and actively taking charge of that time.............................you free up more time for contemplating the world.

All work and no play makes you a dull boy. It's taken me years to discover that in order to be a well balanced individual, I have to make time for myself. Even if it's a half hour before bed just to meditate on my thoughts or answer other's questions here. Good luck in finding some "you time".

Work out where your time actually goes. You may be suprised how much extra you can cram in.
Reading AND shaving while on the c rapper saves me a good 15 minutes each morning.

Probably the biggest (and most difficult) thing for most people to do is to learn when to tell someone to 'fµck off'. Fact is, given the chance, other people will steal so much of your time that you won't have anything left for even the things that you -have- to do, much less the things you want to do.

everyone has the same amount of time to work with, the trick is to become more efficient with your time. Multi task,
skip meals, loose some sleep, and do what ya gotta do.

I think you need some time to relax and eventually things will start coming back to you. Once you finish all you have to do, that is.

Find a job that is what you like to do, and then what you like and have to do will be one and the same. This isn't easy mind you, but it makes all the difference.
