yes there is a place to check your fuel pressure, look all along the fuel rail, there will be a little black cap and under that cap will be a schrader valve, you can get a fuel pressure gauge from any auto parts store for about $20.oo ( make sure it for GM) your fuel pressure should be between 40psi and 45psi for that car.

If it's a 2.2- 4 cylinder,there is no schrader valve.The fuel guage is connected in a series with the throttle body and fuel feed(supply) line.There's a schrader valve ONLY if it's a v6.

You will need a fuel pressure gauge that attaches to the Schrader valve on the fuel rail. Most parts stores carry them.

You either have a schrader valve fuel tap at the fuel rail if you have a 3.1L motor or you have to use an in-line fuel guage and tap in through the filter if you have a 2.2L.

i had a 86 cavalier and there is a fuel filter under the car at the tank in 86 wouldnt be surprised if they used it in 92 also

You need the fittings and hardware to tap into fuel lines, thats all.
