And I say this mostly about the Democrat side, because it's just a bunch of pretty colors and cutesy faces.

These people are nothing like the images of candidates from thirty years ago, who had the hard lines of experience, intelligence behind piercing gazes, and substantial life records of having been business leaders or military commanders and such.

Seriously, look up a few past presidents and vice presidents from prior eras and compare them to the "Walmart" management applicants that are today's Democrat lineup for 2008.

The presidency is NOT a high school popularity contest; it's the most important job in the world.

And look who's running.

We're in trouble.

Shift happens.
And I'm pretty sure you woulnd't want to hear them singing.

Business leaders>>> experienced in corruption.

Military commanders>>> this kind will only bring wars, do we need any more of them?

I wonder who you will suggest as the next president if you're the one to choose ^^

It's the only way to get the masses to vote. More people in the US know who won American Idol than who the VP is, or who their State Senators are. Scary, huh?

Anything better then the scary senile geezer chicken hawks on the Republican side, who have to wear diapers and can't come up with a single idea, other then to invade another country (Iran)

Sort of, I guess you could look at it that way.
Although as a group, the Dem candidates have far more experience then the Rep candidates.
