If people would research the Clinton's in Ak. they wouldn't even think of her as a candidate. Corruption. Scooter Libby got the ax, a trial and convicted for allegedly lying to Federal investigators. The Special Prosecutor that investigated White Water, in his report to Congress stated "Hillery Clinton was less than truthful with Federal investigators". So why the pass on Clinton. Where was the outrage from Congress that was heaped on Libby. Crooks. She is gender neutral when it comes to her being in Government in any way. A crook is a crook no matter the gender.

Yes...there are those who lack the intelligence needed to understand that a vote for Shillery, is not a vote for women...it is a vote for the most self-serving person on the planet. She will step on a woman's back as quickly as a mans....and maybe enjoy it more...
And a vote for Obama, although I do not find him as sinister as Hillary, is not necessarily a vote that will benefit minorities. But that will not stop many from voting for him under the same misconception.
So as not to be seen as a misogynistic racist....if Condi were to run, I would gladly cast my vote in her favor.

Judging from the number of people who've said to me, "You're not going to vote for Hillary? But you're a girl!" - I'm going to say yes.
Sad sad state of things. Some people shouldn't be allowed to vote.

I seriously hope not. If for some reason she seems like a good candidate I'd vote for her. But for gender alone? Or in Obama's case race alone? No way.
That's just ridiculous and stupid.

That's funny, RLP said she wouldn't vote for Obama because he likes a different sports team than she slept with er, "supports". Who's the bigger fool?
No, Im going to vote for Ms Clinton because it accomplishes several things:
1- It will truly show the rest of the world we mean it when we say, "Anyone can grow up to be President of the US", not just rich white disconnected men who've never known want in their lives.
2- Men have been running things (badly) the last 100 years in this country, I for one am not afraid to let a female take a crack at it. Perhaps a fresh perspective is just what is needed.
3- The fact that so MANY cons in Y/A will try, do or say ANYTHING to keep Americans from voting for her, HAS to be the best political endorsement I could ever think of.
4- It would prove Diebold voting machines are NOT programmed to let only Republican votes be counted (at least in Florida), that Big Corporations do NOT own our electoral process and our candidates, and, if another national election is again subverted by the Supreme Court, there could very well be riots and insurrection in the US after the elections.
But mostly? I wanna see Cons heads explode when they have to choke out the words, "Madam President".

Yes, some are. This does not mean that everyone except yourself is selfish and ignorant. Plenty of people vote for or against based on race, hairdo, facial wrinkles, posture - why not gender?
Compared to the rest of the world, the US is very late in electing a woman president, there are some who believe that this fact alone is enough to vote by gender. We'll look better telling the world and our own daughters that women can do anything in America if we prove it by putting one in the White House.

Yeah, sadly. Most of the ones I meet with this mentality cannot name another reason for voting for her. I agree, getting a female president would be a great and historic first, but we need to consider who this female is and if she really is the best person for the job.

Unfortunately, some will. These are probably the same people that vote for a candidate because "he has better hair than the other guy".
