WOW!! These are all sad answers!! Well I'm a daddy's girl! He's like my hero/superman and has always been there for us kids for anything we needed. The kind of man that after a hard days work he still found time to come home and go outside and fly a kite with us. Or whatever it was sporting event, etc. He worked hard all his life to support my mom and us kids and we never went hungry, with out heat or air, or electric, water. and we lived in the same house all my life... My parents still love each other dearly after 27 years. My dad is one cool mo fo too!! He cracks me up all the time and always knows how to put a smile of my face. =D Sorry most of you have dead beat dads but Mine wasn't and I thank God for that!!!

He's the best father in the world. Yeah I'm a Daddy's Girl, but my dad has always been there for me. Even when he and my mom divorced, no matter what I needed he was there. But they remarried about 12 years ago, and things are still the same. He's always there if I need to talk to him about anything. I'm 26 years old now, moved out the house but my dad knows if I'm in trouble or anything that I need him. But I love my dad!

I've never had a REAL dad i have a biological father who couldn't be bothered to even try and be a dad, and thought i should be the one to try and bond with him not the other way round i was only 8! This hasn't dented my view on men but it has made me alot more aware and picky ! I haven't spoke to him since i was 9 he's like a stranger to me!!

never knew my real father or mother, for that matter, was adopted at age 9 by a family that made sure that I received the best education money could buy and then allowed me to continue onward at my own pace. he was ultra strict, and thats no small wonder, being an officer in the USMC made him that way. His father was a very high ranking USMC officer as well.

And, to think I was stupid enough to want to enlist in the US Navy instead of the Marines! That decision on my part created a whole host of living nightmares for me, with my adopted family.

Such is life! You live and you learn, sometimes, not always!

I feel bad for him. He must have been really weak to do the things that he did, and hurt his family. But to be honest, I havent seen him, or talked to him in roughly 5 years, and I dont intend to start. But I dont hate him for it, and im most certainly not beating myself up over it. I have completely moved on in my life and it does not effect me in a negative way anymore. I have a REAL dad now (my moms hubby) and he is more of a dad to me than the biological sperm donor ever was...Thanks MOMMY!

My father left when I was 4. Haven't seen him since I was 5 or 6. Haven't talked to him since I was 9. He died in 1990.

I don't think much of him - he opted to not see us because of the woman he married after he and my mother divorced.

He's a nice guy, but he's kind of a coward. He doesnt reach out to me like I have with him, so in the short time we've known each other, things have sort of, faded out... I talk to and hang his wife more than him.

I think he's a wonderful father. He may have been a crappy husband and he's definately made some mistakes. But I'm really proud of who he has become. I love him.
