I had a dream last night that I was in a car crash and I could feel myself drifting away... particle by particle. I know it sounds corny, but when I woke up my whole body felt numb, like I did in my dream.

Yes it would. Sorry, but we're ALL gonna die at some point.
However, I take such warnings seriously and use whatever extra precautions I can to avoid fulfilling such a dream.

No, but your dreams do effect your mood the next day. If I dream about someone that died, I feel sad the next day.

i've had dreams where i fell off buildings and died, but i didn't die. my friend actually told me that if you died in your dreams you would actually die in real life. i would think if you died in your sleep you were extremely ill, or you had a poor heart and something in your dream creeped you out so much, then yeah you would die.

My hubby has dreamed many times that he is somehow killed in a dream, but he's still here solid as ever.

i think its possible you wouldnt die the way you did in your dream obviously but you could suffer a heart attack

that's interesting. i think the only way to truly know would be to ask someone who died in their sleep.
