This happened to my fiance early in her pregnancy. She is now seven and a half months pregnant and the doctors tell us that everything is normal and pregnancy is going along perfectly.

Some women bleed while pregnant, about the same time that they would be on their period.

Generally if you have a regular period, with normal to heavy bleeding its a sign that you're not pregnant.

If you think you are pregnant, and you're on your period, simply take a test. But by and large if you're on your period you're not pregnant.

it's not a normal period if you are having one......usually any type of bloody show is not good during pregnancy, but it also doesn't necessarily mean a misscarriage....sometimes it could be a bladder or urinary tract infection.......I would call your doctor to make sure.. they will probably do some testing to see what is causing it.....some women will bleed off and on during pregnancy, but it isn't the norm......I would def check it out just for your own piece of mind

It is possible to have a period when pregnant. That's why some women don't know they are pregnant if they aren't trying. It usually is a little lighter than usual. It is still important to see your gyno ASAP to make sure it's not a miscarriage. Your gyno may put you on medication.

Yes, but it shouldn't be as heavy as normal, or heavy at all really.. If you normally have a steady flow for 5 days then you might have reasonable spotting for 5 days or less..

There is no cut & dry answer, but it should be lighter than your usual.

you can have your period while pregnant. sometimes there is no difference but sometimes its more like a heavy spotting than a period. if you think you are pregnant and are still getting your period i would go to a doctor.

yes it is possible. The way to tell the difference is, your period would be very light and possibly very short, or it would be brown and not bright red.

I've heard that it is possible, but I have never had this happen. If you are experiencing this I would talk with your doctor about it he or she will know better then us.

Not likely. If you have any bleeding it should be before your missed period & it is called implantation bleeding & is only a few spots.
