This has gone on forever, and i'm sure it will continue. People get nuts like this because a lot is on the line for them, and if the other party would stand in the way of the vision they have, it upsets them greatly. That's why things get so mean. But the whole nazi comparison bothers me too. That's a name that should never be casually just tossed around about someone you disagree with. It's really disgusting!

The country is VERY split right now. A lot of closed-minded people. I listen to some people and just think to myself: Why do they act like this? Their logic is so weak. They base every thought on DEMOCRATS ARE COMMUNISTS or REPUBLICANS ARE FASCISTS.
It's ridiculous. Sure, it's been going on for a long time, but we've not been this split between the parties in a long time.
