They are after something with a sweet smell, so what ever you are using in the shower, that is what is drawing them out, so leave a trail for them. Get the shower ready, but ahead of time String together some large sponges with the soap that u are using on them, you could undo a wire coat hanger to string them with, and hook on to the neck of the shower, turn on the shower without being in it "you are setting a trap to find the direction they are coming from". Leave the door open just enough to see their path. If you can't get someone else too, if you don't have any one use a mini cam or telescope, something to see them with. Where ever the destination & the sorce, after finding the sorce, get some good bombs, seal off the area & follow directions on the bomb. Or run the expense of a pro.

Please forgive this..."They Love Ya Honey"
Sounds like Carpenter Bees to me; BUT not neccesarily the case,,,and the first thing I'd want to know is how they are accessing the interior or your house.
Currently I have a HIVE in a TREE? of all places; approximately the size of a Large beach ball. Even HoneyBees however, might choose to seek an entry and HIVE in your walls.
I have no real clue as to cost for exterminating; but certainly suggest you seek advice from some pros in the trade.

I would call an exterminator. If it is honeybees then they will remove the hive from in and around your home since they are becoming scarce. I had European Hornets in my house and after $200 and a guarantee they wouldn't come back I got rid of them. It is better to be safe rather than sorry.

You may have a hive somewhere in your attic or walls. Call an exterminator. Boring bees are very difficult to get rid of.

Yay so they're back?????? Phew thank god . CCD had me worrying. Anyhow on a different note I've heard that green smoke flares help drive away bees. Maybe you should look into that

if they are hanging out near your body wash, it might be the sweet smell from that.. i had a problem like that here as well, i just moved everything out and away from the shower for about a week, killed them, and they have never returned yet.. that's been a few years now.

They are probably coming from your bathroom exhaust fan. Try turning on the fan and spraying flying insect spray in the fan.
