why is it acceptable for women to seek rich men but its wrong and inappropriate to due to the same for men whom search for rich women?

Who said it was acceptable for a women to seek a rich man? I don't know anyone who admires that trait in a woman. They are thought of as users, gold diggers, shallow and other unflattering adjectives. There is no double standard with this topic i.e. both men and women who troll for rich partners are prostituting themselves.

maybe it's like this. They don't have any job skills so they figure they can use their beauty and sensuality to manipulate a man who happens to have a lot of money to "love" her. Also known as trophy wife. Real hot, but not career oriented. Same thing for guys. I think rich women tend to look for men with money/stability than just looks. For the guys, I think looks will suffice. I think the man is the traditional bread winner so if they have to resort to gold digging, there is no manhood in that. The stereotype is that it's ok for a woman to do that.
Ask yourself this. If you were a rich man or woman, would it sit in the back of your mind that the new hottie your dating is only after your money or is he/she truly developing a relationship with you?

I'm a woman and i dont think it is right for anybody too seek anyone that is rich it will never bring true happiness the only treasure anyone should ever seek is the treasure you will receive in Gods kingdom

What do you mean by rich? Financial stable or Bill Gates? Also it is unacceptable to be with a person just for money but everyone has standards.

It's not unacceptable for anyone to seek out a wealthy person as a partner. Money is a requirement for a decent life...however if that's all the person is interested in, then many will look down upon them for using the wealthy person.

Face it.......you read it here time and time again.....men are "visual" but women need "security"............so men can have their stupid porn because after all, "its a guy thing"....well, MONEY=SECURITY so why is it so bad for women to desire a man with money.THAT IS THE WAY WE ARE WIRED!
THAT is where the double standard lies..........
Men can act like pigs and we are supposed to accept it because its a man's "Nature" but when women follow our nature, we are labled GOLD DIGGERS.....I am not a gold digger, I just need security.

It's not that's it's inappropriate. It's just that that rich woman will still be looking for an even richer guy.
