New iMac keyboards?

I recently purchased a new iMac. All works well, but the spacebar on the keyboard seems to require more pressure, otherwise words tend to run together. Anyone else experienced this?

I'm getting a new imac in a few days. Kinda concerned about the keyboard... it looks like it might be hard to type on b/c the keys are so flat..
