I need to actually invent this for my science class... But I'm having problems on how!!

Since this is a class assignment, it doesn't matter if it has already been invented or if there are better ways to bind a book. But it is for you to think about a problem that you can easily understand, and try to think of ways to solve it.

I think it has already been invented. I volunteer at my childrens school, and I had to put together a booklet for their upcoming field trip, and used a long stapler to put the staples in the middle. Not trying to put a damper on your idea, just wanted to let you know that there already is one if you are supposed to come up with something original that hasn't been done before.

It's not stapling but any good book on bookbinding will tell you how to sew the pages together.
