Why is this in renting and real estate? Are you living in your car? :-) Just kidding...

The time to negotiate that was BEFORE you signed the lease. Now that you have already gone over the mileage, there is no way they would renegotiate the lease. Now, they might be willing to waive it if you buy the car at the residual at the end of the lease or accelerate that purchase and buy it now, but a change to the actual lease isn't likely.

Most probably not, unless you take a new lease from the same firm. Then you may be able to negotiate. Depending on the level of 'excess mileage', you might be better off buying out at the end of the lease, and selling the car.

NO that's why Dave Ramsey call auto lease "AUTO FLEECE"

Wait till you take the car back to turn it in.

They'll go over that thing with a fine tooth comb and charge you for every dent and scratch they can possibly find.

Only if you are getting another car from the same leasing company.

Otherwise why would they take money out of their pocket and hand it to you?
