why are we compared to a bird flying quickly through a lighthouse,flapping around then flying back out?

its a bit like our brief life,a brief period of light and then back into eternal darkness,to be seen no more.out,out brief candle,life is a walking shadow!!

No, you got it wrong. We fly in, flap around, crap on everything, and then fly out.
