I see ancient history reflected in art, people that once lived a life independent of social norms, not swallowed up in convention.
Christina Rossetti, for example, was not afraid to speak out against things she was concerned about, like child abuse and slavery, women who did were often shunned by polite society.
And Poe my ***** cat, is always entertaining, just taken her picture. And there is my guitar, and plants, ornaments, ancient and modern, reminding me of various countries, and their cultures, and of course family pictures.
And then, there are interesting books, and some small item that was given to me by a friend - famous person, who brought it back from a palace she visited.
O and my piano, keyboards, some special paper weights, and last but not least my computer.
And, although it's dark outside I can hear a lot of activity, it is Halloween and children are playing, fireworks are exploding, then suddenly it is quiet again for a while.
Your bored, well so am I. Not really I just thought that, and it made me laugh. Now my door-bell is ringing for the 3rd time tonight, in a space of 20 minutes?
But I get your point,TV as thousands of channels, and still often boring.

I have a beautiful view of the desert and all of it beauty. I love looking out my window, living in the desert is quite beautiful, I also see the pictures of my family that I adore so much and this being my craft room I see lots of craft paper and scrap booking supplies and pictures that I should be putting into those scrap books. I am also working on a cookbook and have recipes everywhere in here, I need to get busy don't I? Love the question!

Hello AngelX, well sweetheart I'm sitting in the library & as i look around i see loads of people busy busy at their screens, my attention is suddenly drawn to two of those people in particular, it might have something to do with the fact that they are very beautiful woman hee hee. Big massive windows in here so i can see outside, you know from my name im from Glasgow, you may not have heard of it but im from a pretty notorious part called "The Gorbals" so from my desk i can see drug deals going down outside accross the road as blatant as you like, people at the cash machine getting they're money out (you can tell some are apprehensive about withdrawing theyre money in front of a bunch of people like that&i don't blame them cos they'd just as soon as whip it out theyre hands). In Glasgow we are about 10 mins behind London according to sunset/rise etc. so it's geting dark already here. Don't get me wrong though i like where i live it's got more positives than negatives. Not very exciting but there it is xx

I know how you feel old mate. I'm living right next to a strip club. My livingroom window just happens to over look the girls changing rooms. It's a sight for sore eyes-I can tell you. I can either look at my own computer, watch the telly, or just look out the window every night. Isn't life boring.

I see 2 year old Lexie Nicole showing me what she made with Play Doh which looks like a big green pancake with holes poked in it. She is SO proud, though!
