no, but I think they should go after Tori Hunter. He is a great outfielder and they could use the defensive help in the field. Move Melky over to LF and put Hunter in CF. Then you can DH Matsui. I would try to trade Damon and Giambi in a package deal. The Yankees need to get younger and keep a few good clubhouse guys like Jeter, Posada to rebuild their franchise.

i'm sorry, yet your commerce thoughts are merely ridiculous. no longer in easy words will Pujols and Utley no longer be traded, in spite of the indisputable fact that the will supply you advise are so decrease than fee as to be senseless. Cano is merely 2 years youthful than Utley, first of all, and it would take a lot more advantageous than him to get Utley. And the gamers you advise sending to the playing cards would bring about no longer something more advantageous than laughter from Cardinal administration. And Abreu for Vlad? Damon for Ichiro? Are you extreme? and then "by some skill" trading for Santana and Webb? as if the Mets would ever commerce him to the Yanks, for something. and then you've the Yankees signing the precise loose brokers. And Bonds coming back, and being effective? i'm sorry, yet in case you've been really extreme, you've were given to be about 10 years previous.

He has said that it would be a dream fulfilled for him to do that but he also stated that he does not see room for him there with Jason manning the DH and already having a crowded outfield.
He ends up being the big bat that Aneheim brings in; then he gets his 3000 hit in an interleague game against the Giants.

It would be good for Barry since he could DH and get a lot more ABs. Won't have to play the field and there would be less chance of injury.

If my Yankees ever do something that disrespectful to the fans of New York, they would have truly earned the title of "Evil Empire". Bonds is a disgrace to baseball. I personally hope he is never picked up, therefore he will never reach his goal of 3,000 hits.
Frankly I'm having difficulty understanding much of what the Steinbrenners are trying to achieve.
We need pitching and a 3rd baseman. We don't need another cheater. We already have one in Jason Giambi, whom I wish they would get rid of.
