It'll be on...as well as my two fog machines, black lights, and myself dressed as a scarecrow...I lay on my porch leaned against the railing with a bowl of candy....then when the unsuspecting parent reaches in, I grab their arm. (I usually wiggle a finger just enough for the little ones to know I'm real...I have yet to scare one...but usually send the moms and dads running).
Happy Halloween, Susan!

Hey, my real name is Susan S, too.
Mine's going to be OFF. Usually I go all out with fog machines, scary music, black lights, a grave yard... the works. Last year I got tired of it when I got off work late and had to rush around to set up, only to find half my props didn't work so not many kids came by because the props were supposed to light up the porch & didn't. I just got frustrated, gave away my tombstones and decided to sit this year out.

Off, but only because we live in a condo now and for the last two years only one kid stopped by all night.
I had him over last night and gave him a few candy bars in advance and there has been no kids that have moved in this past year.
My husband & I have plans for a what we call a Sweet "P" Party.
That is a night that consists of:
Pajamas
Pizza
Popcorn
Pop
Pictures (movies)
Can't wait!

My porch light is ALWAYS on...Oh, you mean THAT porch light. Yes, it will be on until or unless we run out of candy. My mom will be sitting out there dressed as the energizer bunny.

On. We're going trick or treating with our daughter and are leaving a bowl of candy on the porch. I just hope no one takes the whole bowl.

Off this time. I'm broke as hell and we get so many kids I have to buy a lot of candy to make it last the entire night. Last year we ran out while kids were waiting in like a line on our sidewalk.

Probably off because the trash on the bottom floor will be sitting out on the stoop with their busch beer in hand and chain smoking to scare off anyone that approaches our building.

Since it's automatically controled at this apartment complex like all the other ones, it'll very likely be turned on.
