Brown spotting is just old blood. Sometimes it can happen after sex.

Hi Kathleen. I am not a doctor, but I do have three children,(check out their ages 28,26, and 2years old) I have also had 2 miscarriages. I am sorry for your loss. I do know that brown blood is old blood, so if you are pregnant not to worry. It's the bright red, (new/fresh) blood you would have to worry about. If i were you Id go to the nearest dollar store and purchase a pregnancy test. If it's positive, Congradulations! You will be seeing a doctor soon, don't forget to mention the spotting. If it's negative, keep trying. See your doctor anyway and get it checked out. It could be nothing, still early detection of anything is always a good choice. Good Luck!

It can mean allot of different things. It can be implantation bleeding or just some spotting due to your cervix being swollen or you had rough sex. If you are worried it would be best to see a gynaecologist just to make sure there is nothing wrong. Womens hormones can do strange things suddenly even if you never had spotting before. You might be stressed because you really want to be pregnant. My advise would be to relax and take it easy. You are going to find it really difficult to get pregnant if you are over stressed.

Normal stuff. Take a home pregnancy test then follow up with a doctor visit to be sure, b/c hpt's aren't 100 per cent.
