I continue to get emails from businesses from other countries to be a representative for them and cash their $ orders and take 10% and return the remainder to them. Are these legal?

Just how STUPID ARE YOU?... those are SCAMS... probably NIGERIAN SCAMS... those are NOT LEGAL OFFERINGS...

Do you live in a cave or what? These SCAMS have even been exposed on TELEVISION PROGRAMS and the internet is full of WARNINGS about these NIGERIAN SCAMS... so why have you not READ about these SCAMS?

NO - just delete the emails. I get tons of them all the time.

Technically they legally can send out these types of emails, they are just NOT legitimate offers.

They are a nuisance, but you cant really do anything. Somehow in the past, your email address was lifted from somewhere and sold. Now the scammers are using it in the hopes that you will reply.

They are not leagal as they are basically looking to defraud you, They will ask for processing fees and keep asking for more and more money before they are done, people have lost 1000's (seems a msall price when you have a million coming!! however there is no money and there never was, a book called "Greetings in Jesus Name" is a great read about a guy who leads them on for ages (Makes them send pictures of them in stupid situations etc..) very good.

Those are scams. Their checks will eventually bounce, and you'll be out whatever money you already forwarded to them.

I don't think it becomes illegal until they charge you money for something you never receive.
