I think Leclaire is sick nasty right now and I definitely think the Blue Jackets have a shot at the playoffs this year. As long as they're goaltending doesn't choke, but I don't think it will. I've thought Leclaire would be a good goalie since he's come into the league.

I agree with Awesome Bill. I am excited to see them start off this way, I'm glad to see Nash have 8 goals already and 13 points. I'm glad to see our goalie stop some pucks (I mean 4 Shutouts already!!!) with an impressive GAA of 1.25 ( I believe) We need to get steady Freddie Norena to find his rhythm again.
I like our team, I like them a lot...but we need to get some players to make us more consistent. Pecca was a great pick up, as was Federov a few years ago...but we need some guys who are not going past their prime.

I hope for the playoffs, but this year I'd be happy with a winning season. If we go above .500, we may make the play offs. I just think finishing above .500 (more than 1 game) is a more realistic goal for the Jackets year.

While they might not be there yet, they are definately heading in the right direction. I think they need a little more tinkering before they can be considered a legitimate threat, though. As for making the playoffs, they could get a sniff but I wouldn't get too hopeful for an extended run just yet, but stranger things have happened.

I think Ken Hitchcock is a tremendous coach who will get the most he can out of the players. But I think the Jackets need a couple of good wingers and a defenseman before I can say that they are "lock" for the playoffs. I think they have a chance this year and could emerge from the first round possibly, but they need some more players or some guys just need to step up. Give them another year or two under Hitch and they will be contenders.

-Don't listen to dopey fans.
-If Columbus makes the playoffs thats a big step in an organization that's looking to still get to that point.
-I enjoy David Vyborny's play, Zherdev should break out in my opinion.
-They stay the way they are, they'll do fine.

they remind me a lot like the Stars when hitchcock came. they didn't make the playoffs the year he came. his first full year they made it to the playoffs and 1999 they won the cup. and Nash reminds me of Madano. ( not style wise but attitude) and hitch does too. they have a good shot of making the playoffs however i don't seem them going deep yet.

They are doing pretty decent for 10 games played and 13 points, but there are 72 more games to go, man. Take some Ritalin and settle down.
