I understand the well diggers charge by the foot to dig, but the cost of the pump, casing, and well house is what i am trying to figure in.....

Thank You,

Depending on the size of the well, and your location, you can reasonably expect to pay $1000 for a well (100'-150') (we pay $45/ ft for an environmental water well 4" ID PVC).

Development - another $100 or more.

Pump - $200- $500 depending on the model and total depth of the well.

Housing $500+ depending on location.

I had a well dug at my land two years ago. It is 140' deep and 8" across. There is a frost-free hydrant top and a submersible pump. The total was right about 5,000 dollars. The cost for the well itself was 25.00 per foot deep. 3,500 for the well and the rest was the hydrant top and pump.
