Zetterberg is quite a hot player of the NOW. However, if you haven't been watching for past year there is quite the young stud playing in Pittsburgh for the Penguins.
I am a Boston fan so I have my own favorites and live in the shadow of the Ducks (can see the stadium from my house).
Time will tell how good Zetterberg will be. He isn't even the best player to put on a Red Wings jersey (though he is the best that they have now).

You go kid! You keep watching Fire on Ice hockey on FSD with Ken Daniels, Mick Redmond and Larry Murphy. Keep watching the greatest sport ever, played by the best team to play it. You keep watching #40, Hank Zetterberg won't let you down.
For what it's worth, Marc Crawford gave Hank big props, "Best, most dangerous player in the game, on the ice at any given time." It's the only worthwhile comment ever attributed to Crawford.

One of the best yes. I think he's better than Datsyuk. I liked him since his rookie season. He's a great two way player and an amazing scorer. Right now, sidney crosby in my mind is the best. It's amazing how good of a leader he is at his age. I'm a wings fan too, and after watching Yzerman for so many years lead the wings, I think Crosby has that potential. Zetterberg hasn't shown that one quality yet.

Wow Crawford said something good about someone onthe wings thats amazing. that said the wonderful thing about zetterberg is that while lot of people compare him to greats or say he doesnt comepare to greats he really doesnt care. He is a great example of a team player and wanting the overall team to succede. if it was all about just his stats he wouldnt be willing to play one a line without pavel and homer.

He is a great player, but not the best. Being at the top of the scoring leaders for a few weeks is only a small step towards ultimate hockey supremacy.

I say Ovechkin is the most dangerous player. I'd love to see what damage he could do with a team like Detroit, but I wouldn't love to see him on Detroit. Crosby has the most skill. Zetterburg is an amazing well-rounded player that is just leading the league in points. There are still a few players I'd rather have.

Hes an amazing player to watch, leading the NHL in points. He will give you 100% every game in which you dont find in many players. He's also a hella of a defense player. But overall not the best player in the league

Zetterberg couldn't hold a candle next to Gretzky, Richard, Beliveau, Horton, Cyclone Taylor.....

Alexander Ovechkin his play this whole season has carried the caps through injuries and penalties; he's only had 2 or 3 pointless games

I wouldn't quite say that. The season is still young, and players get on hot streaks. He could easily have a scoring drought. There are many players in the league that are better than him. Crosby, Thornton, Iginla(the guy can do everything). We'll see how the season folds out.
