A vertical line always has the form x = # where the # in question is just the x-coordinate of the point(s). Therefore, if the vertical line is going through the point (2,-2), the x-coordinate of all points on that line would have to be 2.

Therefore, the only point that would be on the line is the one that is of the form (2,x). In this case, it would be (b).
