Think i must be getting old cos i keep moaning about how trick or treating is glorified begging and how its just another way to make the kids of today even greedier!

Having kids knocking on your door for two weeks prior to Halloween does get on your nerves, its what they do round here, I love Halloween as its the anniversary of me and my hubby's first date and we always go out for a nice romantic meal, today is our 27th anniversary and we'll be out so the kids can knock to their hearts content.

I don't hate Halloween, but it's probably my least favorite holiday. I think it's more for kids. I can kind of relate.
Some kids are greedy . . . one year, I didn't have enough money for candy (to give to the kids); I was living paycheck by paycheck. This little girl rang our doorbell (the light was not on) and had the nerve to ask me why I didn't have any candy.

I think if brought up right a kid can learn patience and respect from it. It's something fun for the kids too don't turn in to that jerk that doesn' hand out candy on Halloween =) . Theres always that one dark house on every block.

You are certainly not the only one to stop getting any kids or many people who are not kids anymore just greedy I suggest you download a poster to say no trick or treating.
I don't hate it but not that interested anymore.

The last thing these couch potato kids need is a bunch of sugary treats. I mean pediatric diabetes is practically an epidemic as it is.

No youre not. I hate is too. I hate it when i'm trying to watch the telly and the kids knock on the door every 2 minuutes. Drives me crazy. GGrrrrrrr.

I dont really like it either..only thing im going to do is dress up my one month old and go to family and friends..im not going to be one of those weirdos that take their newborn door to door to get candy for themselves! Blahhh thats ridiculous!

i hate halloween too! how is it a holiday??? how is dressing up like something from hell and asking for sweets a holiday?? i refuse to take part and let teenagers throw more abuse at familys. im 15!!!
