You cant. If you go over the bridge, and try to go into the town, a sprite will stop you.Sorry!!

You can't go to Mineral Town, your work will never be complete, so the sprite won't let you pass.
You CAN however make Mineral Town come to you, sort of. If you put Friends of Mineral Town, or More Friends of Mineral Town into the GBA slot on your DS then the people of Mineral Town will come to the valley more than just on festivals. You can wine-and-dine the ladies then, and even marry them.
BUT if you do marry a Mineral Town girl, then it is game over, since you move with her to Mineral Town.

Sorry, but you can NEVER go to Mineral Town, according to Jackie (the sprite who stop's you) you're work is never done.
I don't know who started the rumours that you could, but you CAN'T!
