I cannot get these problems.

1. The volume of a cuboid is 1536m^3. Its length is 16m and its breadth and height are in ratio 3:2. Find the breadth and height of the cuboid.

2. The surface area of a cuboid is 758cm^2. Its length and breadth are 14cm and 11cm. Find the breadth and height.

1)
Let the breadth = 3x and height = 2x

Length = 16 m

Volume of a cuboid = l * b * h
1536 = 16 * 3x * 2x
1536 = 96x
96x = 1536
x = 1536 / 96
x = 16

The breadth = 3 * x = 3 * 16 = 48 m

The height = 2 * x = 2 * 16 = 32

2)
Length = 14 cm
Breadth = 11 cm (given)

Surface area of a cuboid = 2 (lb + lh + hb)
758 = 2(14*11 + 14h + 11h)
758 / 2 = 154 + 14h + 11h
379 = 154 + 25h
25h = 379 - 154
25h = 225
h = 225 / 25
h = 9

Therefore,
The height = h = 9 cm

The breadth is given.

1. v=1536
l=16
b:h=3:2
let b=3x and h=2x
so 16X3xX2x=1536
=>6x^2=96
=>x^2=16
therefore x=4

1.............
C = L * W * H
C= 1536
L = 16
W = 3/2H

1536 = 16 * 3/2H * H
24H² = 1536
H² = 64
H = 8
W = 12

2...............
SA = 758
L = 14
W = 11

SA = 2 * (L * W + L * H + W * H)
758 = 2 * (14 * 11 + 14 * H + 11 * H)
379 = 154 + 14H + 11H
25H = 225
H = 9
Breadth is given.
