How old is the fridge? Does it not run at all? Or does it just not cool your food? Could be the fan motor needs replacing. You might need a new fridge.

The motor may be going out. There may be a lack of refrigerant in it as well. Depends on what you mean by going out.
There should be a small appliance place around you, go to them & tell them what it is atually doing. But, you may just need to to replace the motor most likely. But if it is freezing up in the freezer & there is no cool air in the refrigerator, then I would suggest unplugging, opening the freezer(after you have removed everything) and letting it thaw completely. Use a hair dryer(Carefully) to speed up the process. When its thawed, plug the refrig, back in. Don't turn it colder, just leave it as it is. If you can feel air coming from the vents in the fridge then its doing what it is supposed to.

Make sure the refrigerator has a full 120 volts @ 15 or 20 amp breaker.
The motor might be under powered for the load a refrigerator might need, this will burn out the compressor

Same fridge?? Sounds like you need to get a new one. A fridge shouldn't fail even 2 times in 10 years.

COULD BE SEVERAL THINGS....COMPRESSORS ARE THE MOST EXPENSIVE THING TO REPLACE, ABOUT THE PRICE OF A NEW FRIDGE. TRY UNPLUGGING THE THING FOR ABOUT 15 MINUTES OR SO, IT MIGHT RESET, UNLESS THERE IS A SERIOUS PROBLEM......LIFE OF A FRIDGE IS 7 TO 10 YEARS, THOUGHT THERE ARE MANY THAT HAVE LASTED MUCH LONGER THAN THAT...I HAVE ONE FROM THE 1950S IN THE CELLAR AS A BEER COOLER...STILL WORKS FINE!!!

Depends on the manufacturer. As commonly stated, you get what you pay for.
