yes, i found military to be very challenging in a number of areas.it's a good life time experience especially if one is well focused. Many people have made it in life after serving in conversional defence forces and not in illegal militaries around the globe.

No. Unfortunately some castes were classified as non-combatants and as such I was not eligible to join when I could . Of course now I cannot even fight for myself.

I tried to join 5 times back in 80/81 , but was told i was too short , now i work with guys who are only 4'10 and carry a gun . dammit , i wanted to follow in my fathers footsteps
