I was driving through Wyoming too late on a very cold winter night I think it was January 2 2000. The gas station was closed, and I was out of gas. The hotel was closed for the night.
A passer by from the nearby town put me up for the night, and brought me back to my car the next day. He probably saved my life. I am very grateful for Larry and his family, and I will never forget them.

I've been truly blessed in my life and had a palethera of niceties bestowed upon me, but....I'm going to say the fact that after my divorce, I met a man who fell in love with me. The fact that I had three tiny children didn't even raise an eyebrow with him. We married and took the role of stepfather with honor. And has been there for those children, who are now adults, where their biological father wasn't. Therefore, the stepfather became truly their daddy! How lucky we were and are!

Took me on a roof at 4 AM and sat there on the roof for 2 hours to watch the sun come up.
