I have a really hard time falling asleep if I don't have some white noise going on .... like a fan or an air conditioner or something.
anybody else like that?

Absolutely! I bought that clock at Bed Bath & Beyond that has 8 different sounds and shines the time up on the ceiling. I always have mine set to "rain" and the timer on 1 hour. Then comes beautiful sleep.

I'm like that too. I don't care if it's fall or winter. My fan has got to be going because I'm so used to hearing the noise from it.
The noise is what puts me to sleep at night. I just put a lot of covers on me and put the fan on. If I don't have it going then I have an extremely hard time getting to sleep, or I just can't sleep at all. So yeah I understand what your talking about and I'm the same way.

an air conditioner or fan is fine but other noise bugs me. I can't sleep if I hear snoring, and I can't sleep to the TV either.

Oh yeah. I have a fan on year round. Sometimes I put the TV on and turn the volume all the way down just so I have that weird, almost inaudible TV sound going.

My fiances like that. Hes had a hard time going to sleep ever since our fan broke.

I can sleep with almost any level of noise, but quiet is the ideal sleeping noise level for me.

Yes, when I am period I can not sleep and it is too bad because I am tired and I want sleep but there is some thing that stop me even when it is quiet.

I do too, but I prefer more of an 'outside' sound, like cars driving by or neighbors or such.
