new circuit fitted due to mouse frying on old fuse board hubby quite handy but dosent like interfering with main fuse board what and how do we go about changing 16amp to a 32amp

sorry just had an electrition in for another job and asked him he said its a breaker not a fused 1 we origanally had a 32amp in the old 1 and i mean very old 1 the type you had to use fuse wire when we had the new 1 fitted the same wires coming out of the old box for all appliances were put back into the new 1 sorry if its confusing but i think we need to get a electrition in thaks to you all from a confussed woman

USA electrical "experts" should really defer to a UK electrician on this one.

I have to agree with William...even if it's FUSES, NOT Breakers; never heard of 16 or 32.

If it's breakers I'd make sure the power was off at the main and install double 20's, much like for an elect. range etc. Even in fuses all I recall are 5/10/20/30

Sounds like some heavy duty work goes on in the "shed"

Have the wires checked to see if they can support a 32 amp service. If the wires going to the out building are 20 amp lines, you can not just change the 'fuse'.

never heard of a 32 amp fuse, or 16 amp unless its a dc voltage, but any way the fuse box has to be rated for the fuse, size,
