I went trick or treating with a group of friends every year until I was 19 or so. Although when we were 15+ we mostly just went to the homes of people we actually knew. We'd dress up and go around to all of our friends' houses and see their parents, etc. That way you get candy you're not afraid to eat from people you actually know, and get to socialize too! One year it just didn't seem that fun anymore, so I stopped. I would say that when it's no longer fun for you, it's time to stop. You'll know when that time comes!

i think trick or treating is stupid, its also very cheeky knocking on peoples doors asking for sweets , hardly anyone actualy knows what halloween is about , its just a lame excuse to get free candy or in some cases money and dress up. i do admit its fun to dress up an stuff , but i would never go knocking on peoples doors asking for stuff.

Well, I'm 13, nearly 14, and I had my last trick or treating session last year. I'm bringing my little brother around the estate, but I'm just waiting at the end of the drive. Are any of your friends trick or treating this year? Because I know lots of girls who are 14 that go trick or treating in groups and they all have a great laugh. I might actually dress uo this year...you've got me thinking, thanks! Hope I helped!

I think it really just depends. Firstly, it depends if you have someone to go with like a sibling or friends. Also, do you really enjoy it? If so, you should defintely continue to do it. I'm 16 and i'm still going with a bunch of friends tonight! Also, as you get older people tend to have parties instead of trick or treat.....so you may be busy with parties and events too. I hope you have a happy halloween!

i think 12 - 13 is best. some people can get really scared when a gang of teens turn up on their doorstep, i know my dad does and he, and others, wont open the door halloween night now which spoils it for the little ones.
