I don't find it "embarassing", I find it stupid.
To pay extra money for the pleasure of being free advertising makes no sense to me.
When you buy name brands that announce to the world you paid more for your shirt then anyone else, it just makes me think you have no sense of the value of hard work and money.
Just my opinion.

i was never really into that either. its just advertising something your probably not all that into. i get it if your a fan of the brand name. only problem is you wear other items of clothing with different brand then you might worry about not matching and what not. i'd rather wear a shirt with a funny message or a picture of something you like a lot rather then a huge brand name.

Why would you be embarressed with what someone else is doing, it doesn't reflect on you? It is a statement that they are wearing something, that tells it is a name brand shirt. I don't understand why anyone would pay big money to do free advertising for these companies.

It isn't embarrassing but a total show off.
That's what I'd say,, these kids in high school wouldn't have the money to buy authentic ones these thighs are way too expensive, so they just fake it.....
its complete stupidity

My grandmother, of blessed memory would agree with you.
she wouldn't buy it if she saw the brand name outside "labels should be on the inside" she used to say.
If she bought something and didn't notice she would cut it off with scissors.
personally I don't intentionally go looking for them and prefer w/o but if I find something I like that's comfortable - I'd buy it.

Its because their logs are "in your face", probably not your taste in labels and well these people arent aware they're selling the brand by just wearing it. Maybe its because they think they have status and power to afford big labels and it can afford those not-so-rich people.

it's ok to wear huge letter on shirts or hoodies just as long as you're wearing an authentic or orginal ones.

I don't care as long as they have something to wear. Let them wear it. I find it funny that some people are angry because of other's look. Maybe you are the one who care too much about other people's.

Some people enjoy being walking billboards.
They think a certain brand is "cool" so they like to wear it around. -shrug-
