Doesn't matter who you are, please tell me your stand on it! I need to know what different religions say about this too! And are there any higher or lower risks of sexually transmitted diseases for same-sex relationships?

The gvmt should have no part in defining what a marriage should be.

The gvmt should be out of the marriage business and let the individuals decide for them selves what their marriage should be.

In spite of forecasts of the end of civilisation, same-sex marriage has gone ahead here in Canada, and now it hardly raises an eyebrow. There is no visible difference in society.

Basicaly religous groups as a whole don't agree with it. Most of the majour faiths have said that it is 'ok' to be gay, just as long as you don't act on it.

Depends about the STDs, if you practice unsafe sex then its pretty high (depending on the type of people you choose to sleep with) just like a hetro couple.
