It happens when I get very emotional over someones inhumanity. All the energy from the bottom of my legs runs up to the top of my head. Then I sit back , remember Allah, take a deep breath, and do my very best to give back a humane answer. Salam.

my brain halts when i try to remember a name or a number.
my memory saves impressions , images, situations , etc.
so, i can describe a situation very well, but when i try to recall the names, i have to think .
i save myself by making comparisons or contrasts between the person and his /her name., eg, if a girl is pretty and her name is Qamar, i install it in my memory as ism 3ala musama.
if she's ugly, i install it as a contrast !ma kansh yet3az !
but with numbers, there's no way for me to remember any number.
i dont know my phone numbers , so i have a notebook handy in my handbag. when someone wants to contact me on the phone, i show them the notebook to copy the number.
it's absurd, but im not embarrassed anymore. i accept myself.

Rarely when I have to solve many problems in few minutes or seconds and for some time non-stop. The funny thing is in order to keep brain in good condition, I do it in purpose if it didn't happen for a long time. It's like a power save or suspending my brain.

Hey there Salah,

Actually that happens to me a lot, especially when i am "processing" too much "data". It is then that my brain "crashes" and my process of thinking or speaking just "shuts down".

Seriously though, it happens to me when i feel really overwhelmed, sad and in pain.

It happened to me many times Salah, but I don't remember a specific situation.
Well, I think this one of the situations that I didn't have anything to say. :))
