its a poor excuse no to accept someone on the basis of her looks, all that should matter is that u love her and she loves u, don't let family interfere. if u do u will be sorry later on.

Tell them to get over it......You see her as beautiful and you see her as you "love" There is nothing but a wonderful relationship brewing there. Don't let ANYONE change your feelings for this girl. We all have a look....but it's what's inside that counts. She must be a really good person, and a beautiful person to YOU, isn't that all that matters?

You should be the one to find her beautiful. You will marry her, you will live with her, you will be the one to put up with any quirks she has. You will grow old with her, and she will grow old with you. If her attitude towards life is beautiful and she is not a "model" what do you have to lose? How would you feel if her family did not think you were good enough looking for them but you loved her? What would you want her to say?

Dude unless your last name is Hilton or Trump, I wouldn't sweat what your family is saying. I'm going to guess u r an average guy from an average family who is in love with an average looking girl? So you and your shallow family need to accept this is as good as it gets for you. Enjoy!

Your a full grown man no longer needing the approval of your parents.
You have something good going here for you, you love her, she loves you. That's more than some people's got.
Apron strings are cut love, and you will cleave on to the woman you make your wife. Make your own home and family, and teach them better principles than to judge someone's self worth by their looks.

"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". That would be you. Your family is obviously frighteningly shallow. Don't let them influence you into being the same way. If you feel you have found someone you truly love, don't let her get away.

what kind of a logic is this? Do u agree with your family too? Marriage is between 2 ppl... dun tell me marry is between families cos if so, then get married to the gal your family want you to marry. What has a good hearted gal got to do with looks. if you dun mind her looks and love her deeply and she love you back, then GET married... what r u waiting for? if you dun have the guts to overthrow your family then I think u can let your love of your life drift away... but if you are strong and confident that your love can overthrow anything, get married and live a blissful life.

See if you can get your parents to see her inner beauty if they feel she has no outer beauty. Just remind them of this - Beauty fades over time, but personality is FOREVER.
