Looks like your OS is pretty messed up. If Win XP, try this repair:

Afterwards, boot to safe mode then scan for virus.

Could be a virus, could be a bad hard drive.

Do this:

1. When the computer is starting up, tap the F8 key, this will bring up a menu, try the Last known good configuration option. If that does not work, try Safe Mode.

2. If either one of these work, then do a virus scan and scandisk.

3. If #1 fails, you need to start up your computer with a system repair disk, or your windows installation disk. Get into recovery console and run scandisk.

4 if this does not fix, use your windows disk to re-install windows, you should not loose your data if you use the repair option.

Good Luck

You probably have a virus. Get a new hard drive or reinstall your operating system after formatting your hard drive. You will lose all of your saved data, but your computer will work again.

most likely it's because of virus. u must back-up your important files if u are going to reformat the harddisk. but, before that do a check to see if the cooling fan is working, if u are using a PC. overheating may cause this result as well.
