The Green Hornet for sure. It may be the only show in the history of radio where they had to change one character's nationality because of political events.
On November 31, 1941 the show was aired and Kato was the faithful Japanese valet and companion to the Green Hornet. The next Sunday, December 7th, Kato's nationality changed to Filipino!

I loved the Green Hornet television show! It wasn't quite as campy as Batman, and the Green Hornet music was much better than Batman. (When I was much older, I learned that Al Hirt played the trumpet solo in the Green Hornet arrangement of Flight of the Bumblebee-at the time I just liked the music). I remember hearing about the radio show from older relatives.
My older cousins had Green Lantern comic books. One of my cousins was kind enough to read them to me when I was very young.....The Justice League was such a cool idea...;)

YES ... I'll admit to remembering the Green Hornet and the Green Lantern. I'll even admit to seeing the TV shows (hey, I'll admit to watching TV in B&W too). I can remember sitting down with my father and watching things like this ... and my father's favorite shows too .. Westerns, etc!

Yep liked them both. I have a green lantern button pinned to my name tag right now. I think Aquaman was the hero I always wanted to be.
