If the Dodgers due decide to opt out of the contract with Grady Little and Hire Joe Torre, and Don Mattingly does follow Torre to the Dodgers...................is it realistic that Alex Rodriguez would consider playing for the Dodgers and his old boss, and does LA even have the cash for him?

I think A-Rod would seriously think about it for several reasons. 1 - He had a pretty good career year this season with Torre as his manager and has gotten along well with Joe during his Yankee years. 2 - Alex loves the limelight and where else besides New York or L.A. can the media and fans pay homage to him? 3 - If the Dodgers are serious about getting A-Rod, they WILL find a way to get the money to pay him. 4 - The Dodgers are competitive and should be instant playoff hopefuls if they sign him.

A -Rod would go to LA in a heartbeat if Torre went there...a National League team with only 8 legit hitters would pay whatever to get someone who can drive in 125-150 runs; and LA,? land of vain, self absorbed overpaid shallow stars...a perfect match. Send The Curse of the A-Rod to LA!

Considering New York likes to give L.A. all of its valuable assets ,Brooklyn Dodgers, Joe Torre, Etc... This fits my conspiracy theory that Los Angeles indeed has better marinara sauce... Fo Get 'Bout It!

A-Rod will likely end in boston.
There was a trade or something in the works eariler this year with Boston.
The League didn't aprove of it so it failed.

I don't think he'll follow torre, if he goes any where besides boston i think he'd head to chicago, were lue is choaching.

it's certainly a possibility athough I think the Angels are the better fit, they need a power bat and now! Vlad and A-Rod, that's almost as scary as Papi and Man-Ram.
