Doing a little fly fishing, are you? I know someone who is an expert at fly-tying and he says its all in the wrist. I still think it has nothing to do with how you tie the fly but more how you pull on the line. Just don't tug too often, it may break and then you will lose your fly. Who wants to do such intense hand-work only to lose it at the crucial moment.
