this movie was about a group of people filming a horror movie and someone was killing them off. i remember there was some crazy transexual and some porn star (maybe ron jeremy). it was a really stupid movie but now its stuck in my head and i have to figure out what it was.

Sounds very much like you're talking about the oh-so irreverent and outrageously over-the-top 1999 horror/comedy, culled from the folks over at the Troma Studios, and called "Terror Firmer"; the depicted blind director within this film, is actually played by the actual director of "...Firmer", namely the co-founder of Troma Studios himself, the great and wacky Lloyd Kaufman...
