There was an old school era, attitude, which is my favourite.. I'm not quite sure what around 2002-2005 was called.. But yeah what was your favourite era? And if you can't remember the name of the era give the year of it.

I would say the 80s.You had hulk hogan on one end making wrestling into a better produced spectacle(w/Mcmahon's help)and you had Ric Flair showcasing the pinnacle of the sports entertainer.I agree with a previous poster the tag divisions across all federations was very good(although w.w.e. was the weakest)
Just look at the stars of the 80s.Hogan,Flair,Rhodes,Steamboat,Race,Martell,Hennig(curt),Road Warriors,Von Erichs,Garvins,Sgt Slaughter,Macho man,Blanchard,Piper,Junk Yard Dog,Santana,Koloff(s),Luger,Backlund,Anderson(s),Freebirds,Rock and roll Express,Midnight Express,Atlas,Wild Samoans,Sawyer,Sullivan,Adams,Rich, the list goes on and on.The talent pool was much better than it is today.
The attitude era was a slap in the face to wrestling,it resorted to vulgarity and less wrestling and we are living with it's watered down version today.

attitude era is the best.
2002-2005 to present is the mcmahon-helmsley era, which sucks!

The late 70's. "Superstar Era" My all time favorite wrestler SuperStar Billy Grahame Beat Bruno Samartino for the title and held onto it against foes like Dusty Rhodes and Ivan Putski before being robbed of the title by Bob Backlund when Superstars foot was on the ropes while he was pinned.

It was just known as wrestling back in the 1960's when Dory Sr. was still alive. Dad and I went to watch here in Amarillo. Dory Jr. and Terry Funk were still in school.
It was more real back then Dad and I always got on the front row. Killer Karl Kox was around at that time. We heard Killer's Manager when his leg got broken. Dad and I saw Killer's Manager the fowling week downtown and he had on a cast. Since Dad and I did not like him we laughed at him and he could not do anything about it. Matter of fact seemed like everyone was laughing at him.Wrestling was still just a show but there were times that they really did get down and dirty.

THE 80S ENOUGH SAID THAT WAS WHAT WRESTLING WAS ALL ABOUT. EVEN THE EARLIER 90S WAS BETTER THAN THE ATTITUDE ERA.
