i'm willing to share a rather small but quite precious part of myself with the right person, a person i think i have actually been fortunate enough to find. It's a part of me that no one has ever known before, hidden and secret, tender and rare, but i think i have saved it all my life.
It's much like the tiny pearl, the smallest grain of sand that is teased into beauty - the tiniest part of the oyster, an accident actually, one that seldom even occurs, tho when it does, it becomes the part of most value, the reason for opening such a plain shell in the first place.
i also think that if he should break all the way thru, pry open the shell, that this part of me may grow until one day it is not just that tiny and precious part of me, but that i become just a small part of it.
Love is like that. It changes things. It changes me and it changes the person who awakens it as well.
i am finding that as i learn to change the way i look at things, the things i'm looking at are changing. Love does that too.
Yeah, i'll share the pearl with z. It's His anyway...

My food, beer, wine, smokes, (clean) Kleenex, time, some money, technical expertise ( just enough to be dangerous )
and with the exquisitely special lady, my love, acceptance, and appreciation for same shared in return.

I made a wonderful home cooked meal tonight with fresh veggies and ham and potatoes. There's still a lot left so anyone can get some. It's a delicious munchie.
