We ALWAYS have wildfires. Especially during 'fire season'. That's usually at the end of summer, after all the grass dries up and turns brown.

Many reasons; people are building in areas that should not be inhabited and they are no longer cutting old growth trees and brush; which are nothing but kindling.

Add a drier than normal season and you have a tinderbox.

if you keep up with the reports most of these were man made..arsonist
at one count there were 19 fires burning at one time...
